·       Eldy Miller made a motion to approve, Brian Palas 2nd.

·       Approved.

4) Discuss development standards for Conservation Development Zoning,

·       P&Z to continue research on this topic. Will review new information at the next meeting.

·       Some discussion concerned the potential of this type of development being a gated community.

·       A question is what’s the value of this type of development within city limits. Would it be a burden to the city infrastructure? How would this benefit the city tax base?

5) Discuss standards for accessory building & garages in residential and commercial zoning districts,

·       This topic was brought forward concerning the Great American Shed Co on State St. A request has been made to build a manufacturing build to support the construction of the sheds/building produces on the site. It is assumed by P&Z that the shed company is the primary business at this location. The conflict with zoning is the primary building on the site is being used as a residence forcing the manufacturing build to be an accessory building on the property. To be consistent with city code, accessory buildings must maintain a maximum of 15 feet in height.

·       P&Z will review guide lines concerning “private garage” during the October meeting.

6) Motion to adjourn by Eldy Miller, Second by Dean Billick.

·       Aye: Pat Dolphin, Chet Hendrickson, Brian Palas, Chuck Stockdale.

·       Nay: None.

·       Meeting Adjourned 8:16.

Respectfully Submitted:
