Ely’s Parks

Community Center Park

Located on Rowley Street next to City Hall, Ely’s oldest park offers half-court basketball, a tennis court, and a playground.

This park is home to the Ely Farmer’s Market (Tuesdays 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. & Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) from May to October and hosts many of the Fall Fest activities.

Ely City Park

Located at the north end of Hillcrest Street. This park offers several acres of open area, a fishing pond, access to the Hoover Trail, two baseball diamonds, and a concession stand. Ely’s youth sports leagues are held at the park throughout the year.

The Ely Fall Fest 5k and Softball Tournament are held at City Park each year.

Schulte Park

Located at 1310 Banner Valley Road, this park offers the George Reyhons Pavilion equipped with picnic tables, counter space, grill for charcoal cooking, electricity, lighting, restroom, a playground and open space for games or parking.  The pavilion may be rented for $10.00 per day through City Hall.

Vavra Park

Nestled quietly off the west side of Vavra Drive, picnic tables, half-court basketball, and a playground are offered at this quiet, streamside location.
