You asked, we answered. Ely’s citywide mass notification system is finally here!
The City will be utilizing the new Nixle system to notify residents, who elect to receive messages, of emergency and advisory alerts. These alerts could include boil advisories, water main breaks or weather-related emergencies just to name a few.
Users can also opt in to receive a wider range of notifications, such as upcoming community events, youth program registrations or utility reminders.
