Trunk Sewer Project
The Trunk Sewer Project is the second phase of utility expansion to the newly annexed land on the north end of Ely, adjacent to State Street and Mabie Road. The city water line extension was completed in 2020. The next phase is to extend sewer from the Wastewater Treatment Facility on Vista Road, to the north end of town. The majority of the new sewer line will run along Hoosier Creek. Plans are nearly finalized, and remaining easements are being finalized. The goal is to have the project complete by the end of the calendar year.
Notice of Public Hearing
The matter of the of the public hearing on approving plans, specifications, and form of contract for the Hoosier Creek Trunk Sewer project located in Ely, Iowa, shall come on for hearing on the 2nd day of August 2021, at 7:00 o’clock P.M., at the Council Chambers of City Hall, 1570 Rowley St, Ely, Iowa. At said public hearing the Council shall consider approving the Plans, Specifications, and form of contract for the Hoosier Creek Trunk Sewer Project
