PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Ely is currently accepting applications for a temporary appointment to one its City Council seats, which is being vacated by a Council Member who is moving out of the City. This appointment is for a term expiring December 31, 2023. To be eligible for this Council position, a person must be 18 years of age or older, be an eligible elector, and must be a resident of the City of Ely.
Please submit an Application for Appointment to City Council to the City Clerk’s Office, 1570 Rowley Street
P.O. Box 248 Ely, IA 52227 by 3:00 P.M. on July 12th, 2023. Applications can be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office.
