Fall Hydrant Flushing

Public Works will begin flushing all hydrants around town today and will continue throughout the month of October. Below is a map highlighting the tentative schedule.
Hydrant flushing may cause a slight discoloration in the water due to the disturbance in the pipes; running your water for a short period of time will clear it up! The water is safe to drink while hydrants are being flushed.
