The City of Ely is proud to provide four different parks throughout our community, each featuring their own unique characteristics and recreational options. There are rentable pavilions at City Park and Schulte Park, while Community Center Park has indoor space available for rentals with a full kitchen.To learn more about Ely's parks and playground, click here.

Youth Sport ProgramsEly Youth Baseball

The City of Ely offers a variety of youth leagues and activities throughout the spring to fall months including soccer, baseball, intro to sports, tennis, summer camp and blastball. To learn more about this programs, click here. 

Ely Fall Fest

The Parks & Recreation Department oversees the annual Fall Fest celebration that takes place towards the end of September. This event fundraises money for department projects, such as new scoreboards, pickleball courts and new playground equipment.

Park Board

Two-year term, appointed by Mayor and approved by City Council. Parks & Recreation Commission meetings are the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM.

Meetings are held in the Conference Room on the second floor of the Ely Community Center/City Hall at 1570 Rowley Street.* An elevator is available for access. Agendas and minutes will be posted on this site, at City Hall and other locations in Ely. All meetings are open to the public and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.

Friends of Ely Parks & Recreation

The Friends Group is made up of community members who support the development and enhancement of public parks, open spaces, recreational programs and facilities to benefit the citizens of Ely. We plan to host several new socially oriented events throughout the year for both adults and families. This newly established group welcomes anyone in the community to join and participate in whatever way you can!
